Biggest Loser Update - 175.1


This morning we had our 2nd weigh-in. Alright, I'm down 1.7 lbs. I'm back to running 3 1/2 miles again. I didn't want to let my team down again like I did last week by gaining .1lbs. The weather has been really descent running weather for the past two weeks. (In the 60's). I got to get as much of it in before the summer hits. It is literally torture to run in Texas summer heat. Your body gets drained so fast and your feet get hot. I could have done a little better though. There were a few workouts that I skipped for various reasons, but most of all I was really sore all week from this crazy demanding circuit training routine that I got out of a women's magazine of all places. Oh well, regardless of your gender, if a workout works, then it works.
The rest of my team who did very well last week didn't do so hot. One of my teammates who lost 8 lbs last week gained 6 of it back. Uh oh, what did she do? :o) Then Dorian gained another pound on top of the point something of a pound he gained last week. One of my other teammates gained 3 lbs and another lost a pound. So out of 30 teams, we were in 4th place last week. I'm not so sure we'll be that close when the rankings come out tomorrow. But then again, I heard a bunch of horror stories about how a lot of people fell off the wagon over the weekend. I believe that Mardi Gras was this past weekend, so you know what that means. That's one thing I don't have to worry about is a bunch of empty calories from alcohol.
We'll see how everything pans out tomorrow. As of right now at this very moment, I'm pretty pumped. If I'm 174 anything next week, I'll be pleased.
