Scary Weather

Last night was pretty scary as the storm rolled through the metroplex. From the radar on the news, we were right in the line where a tornado had formed just half an hour earlier. So we took heed of what the weatherman said and took shelter.

So, we went ahead and headed to our underground shelter. Well, not really. We actually went to our closet with our nifty ipod touches in hand tracking the storm. We made sure we had a bottle for our little one with a couple of bottles of water just in case we got locked in the closet. We said a prayer for God to protect us and everyone else from any potential catastrophies and hung out for about 15 minutes until the storm had passed.

God brought us through the storm safely along with most everyone else and we are greatful for that. This is the time of year that I don't care much for the weather. Anyway, we removed ourselves from our bunker and headed back out to finish watching the lady on with the new tribe of children that don't have a daddy on Dateline.

By the grace of God we made it past that one, but it was a very wicked moment !
