Time to Child Proof

With our child's new found freedom, we have officially decided that it was time to child-proof our home. First thing we went and picked up today is the plug covers. She's been eyeing the outlets for a while now. Better safe than sorry.



Next, are those darn coiled door stopper things. We only have a couple of these in the apartment. All the other doors have those cool new ones that is attached to the top door hinge. She thinks these things are toys. We have to make sure she doesn't try to put these things in her mouth.

Next thing we got are those things that keep the doors from completely closing that way she doesn't accidentally slam her fingers in the doors.

Finally, one of the big things we've been waiting to get foam padding for the living room floor that has all of Madison's toys. Finally, she has a place to crawl that won't hurt her knees. In the event that she falls backwards and we aren't there to catch her, she won't hit her noggin on the fake hardwood floor. We may have to pickup some more of these things to cover more of the floor. We'll see.
