9 Months Old

Today, Madison is 9 Months old. It appears that she has already hit every milestone mentioned in our baby book.
  • Looking for dropped objects
  • Working to get a toy that's out of reach
  • Pulling up to standing position from sitting
  • creep or crawl
  • get into a sitting position from stomach
  • object if you try to take a toy away
  • stand holding on to someone or something
  • pick up tiny objects with any part of thumb and finger
  • say "mama" or dada" indiscriminately
  • play peekaboo
  • play patty-cake or wave bye-bye
  • UNDERSTAND "NO" (but not always obey it)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, we can't believe that in 3 months, she will officially turn a year old. Being the plan ahead parents that we are, we have already made plans for the birthday party and almost have a date nailed down. Of course, I'm working on a video montage of the first year of her life that will debut on her birthday. We've narrowed down our cake options to just a couple of bakeries. We want to make sure that her first one is one that WE will always remember...... because we know she could care less....lol

This is the month iswhere she is may begin to show symptoms of separation anxiety. So if she starts to act a little snooty and stuck up, just pray for her. Hopefully she'll get over it at some point.
