Cowboys vs. Eagles 2009, Round 1

With about 25 minutes to go before tonight's big game, I feel compelled to say a few things and give my final prediction for the outcome of the game.

First of all, these two teams could actually be playing better and unfortunately one of them has to lose. Donovan McNabb drives me crazy because he always seems to give the Cowboys a big fit almost every time we play them. Also, that Jackson kid is one heck of a player. I just read the Brian Westbrook will be out this game, but they did pretty well without him last week. Tonight's game if he Cowboys can find a way to be consistent will provide a big boost to Dallas' ego. The defense really has to play their hearts out. Ultimately the game will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes. So here are a few questions that I have before the game starts:

Tony Romo hasn't thrown an interception in 3 weeks. Will he be consistent and turn into Turnover Tony as he's prone to do in big games or will he continue to surprise us by making good decisions?

Will the offensive line commit fewer than 2 false starts?

Will Roy Williams catch all the balls that ARE catchable?

Can Patrick Crayton return a 3rd consecutive punt return in as many weeks for a touchdown?

Will Ken Hamlin wrap up and tackle somebody this week?

Will Bobby Carpenter show up again for only the 2nd time in his short career?

Will Terance Newman finally cover somebody?

That's it. My prediction is that the Cowboys will surprise themselves and beat the Eagles, 34 - 10. I know I'm being a total homer, but things like this happen all the time and their never predicted.

Go Cowboys!!!
