Christmas Decorations

For the first time in 12 years of marriage, we finally did more than just put up a Christmas tree. It's probably because our kid is now in the picture and we want her to remember every Christmas possible, albeit at this point it will be a subconscious memory for her. Who knew that some Christmas decorations could be so expensive. We went to one of those specialty Christmas decorations stores that pop up in vacated suites where businesses used to be. We quickly left those pricey places and opted for good ole Wal-mart and Target. They'll do us just fine with our limited budget.

So here are a couple of pictures I took to commerate our first Christmas decorated home. Hopefully we can add a few items as the years pass by. So I urge everyone to do all that you can to make Christmas feel like the holiday that it is. I find that it can be quite hard to get that spirited feeling like you had when you were a child. So have fun with it and do the best that you can to make new memories.

Oh yeah, pretty soon I'll give my opinion on Santa Claus and what we intend to do with him as Madison gets older. It can be a somewhat touchy subject when it comes to the TRUE meaning of CHRISTmas. Till then, peace.
