T'was the Night Before Our Anniversary

Check out this great pic I took of Tess the night before our 12th anniversary. 1.5 second shutter speed. I still had to fix the exposure in Photoshop. Needless to say, we both had to be really still while this shot was being composed. VR (Vibration Reduction) worked pretty well without my tripod. And check this out. The light that comes across her face is from the laptop that the click clacks away on every night before we go to bed. Looking good honey. I'll post soon about what all we did for our anniversary. Peace!!!

P.S. Oh Yeah! Madison took her first school pics last week at daycare. Check them out here at Tess' blog.

That is a great picture of Tess! So pretty.

Indoor shots are definitely my hardest. I just got a new lens, but it was a toss up between that and the flash. I have a Canon Rebel XSi, and just bought a Tamron 28-75 mm 2.8 lens. Before that I used my kit lens a lot, or an inexpensive 50mm that I really love!

I use www.picnik.com a lot. I don't even know photoshop at all. I wish I did! To get that look, I usually go to "contrast" and raise the level. Although it doesn't work on all photos. I also use "cross process" a lot on picnik. I love the look it gives.

Your pictures are always so crystal clear and sharp. That is something I strive for. Guess I'll be getting a flash soon! :)
