Cold Knocked Out

A couple of weeks ago, I needed to make a quick run to pick up some lunch. As usual, Madison wanted to tag along. So she found her hat (since she has to make sure she has her purse (lunch bag), hat and/or sunglasses in tow. Since we didn't have anywhere in particular to go this day, she was still in her pajamas. Mind you it was about 100 degrees on this day and I had to blast the air in the car to keep her cool.

So we go through the drive thru at Chick-Fil-A and and call out to her in the back seat because she wasn't talking her life away like she normally does. As soon as we got to a stop light, I turned around to notice that she was not only motionless, but I couldn't see her face for the brim of her hat. And of course, this was a perfect photo opp.

Then I turned to my left to see what was going on on the other side of the hat and this is what I saw. She was Cold Knocked Out. Guess it was time for her nap.

Just another reminder of how much I love being a daddy. What an awesome little girl! Sittin' in the back seat chillin'
