Corporate Challenge 5K

This morning I ran in the Corporate Challenge 5K that's hosted by the city of Richardson to promote health and wellness amongst area businesses. Mrs. and Misses Jones woke up early to come out and support me. It was a beautiful morning for a run and the course was sprinkled with just enough shade to hide from the Texas sun. Here I am pre-race about 10 minutes before the start of the race. Looking at this picture, I should have pinned the race bib further down by shirt. Oh well!


At the end, it appears that only 1 person got a little too exhausted. It appeared that they ended up being okay. I ended up coming in at an unofficial time of 28:30.

Oh yeah! One more thing. Misses Jones never made it out of her pajamas this morning. She was just find with her bag of Cheerios and her blinged out sneakers. There were enough dogs and children around to keep her entertained.
