With the Thanksgiving holiday having arrived, it was time for our annual family picture. This requires that Daddy run back and forth from the camera to jump into the frame. This always presents a challenge because getting the composition and focus is only half the problem. The other half is making sure everyone has their best smile right as the timer goes off. I try my best to make sure I don't look winded. I also have to make sure Mrs. Jones doesn't move too much. Finally, the hardest part is getting our kid to behave and cooperate, and luckily give a nice, sweet little smile before she gets tired of taking pictures.
Here's a progression of the photos from shot to shot before we got one that we could live with.

And here's the final picture we decided on. Funny thing is, Mrs. Jones and I were looking a little "crazy eyed" in the photo and I had to do some face replacements. I think that her face came out nicely, but if you look close enough, you can see that I have a line around my face where I didn't do a good job of blending the cutout of the my eyes, nose and mouth into the my face where my chin, cheeks and forehead meet.
For good measure, here's our 2009 Thanksgiving photo. My, how our little one has grown.
God Bless,
