Now that we have officially let the cat out of the bag that Mrs. Jones is expecting next Spring, I can go ahead and fill you in on some other very exciting things that we have going on. Let me digress for a second here. Who in the world would be so cruel as to put a cat in a bag and not in a cage or pet carrier. Also, it would probably have to be a very small kitten because I couldn't imaging a full grown cat of any type giving you the green light to put them in a bag.
Ah.. I'm done.
So, with our family growing out of control, we can no longer live the apartment life that we've lived for the past 13+ years. It's time to move on up like George and Weesie. For the past month we've been in negotiations with our mortgage company and we found a builder.
Ideally, we would love to live in Frisco, but we wouldn't have been able to find a place much bigger than our apartment. Heck, we are already paying a house note for where we currently live. We couldn't find anything that we really liked for the price range that we wanted to stay in. But, we did find a house that we liked. The builder that we spoke to informed us that we could purchase the same home in Prosper for about $15,000 less with cheaper property taxes. So after much thoughtful consideration we decided to move forward with having our new home built in good ole' Prosper, Texas.
We should have more than enough space to last us for years.......especially if we decide to be done having any more children. 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, a game room and media room. It will be nice to have a dedicated area for the children mess up.
Monday, we visited the design center and the media people to make the multitude of selections for what we want our home to look like. How exhausting. Most of it I left up to Mrs. Jones to decide. I'm tired of talking about earnest money, down payments, good faith estimates, tax rates, PMI....etc. So much to take care of, so precious little time.
God help us!
Here's a picture of how our home is going look once it's done. This home was already built and we took a nice little tour of the place.
So more pictures will come once construction begins.
