It's Potty Time

Misses Jones has been doing very well with Potty Time. Over the last 2 days, she has had only 1 accident at home or at school. She's wearing big girl underwear now during the day time and Pull-Ups at night. One thing that she hasn't done yet is pooped in the potty. Not sure why, but she just doesn't get the concept yet.

One thing that has helped us out a lot is we were told about the Potty Watch. You can set it to play a little song in increments of 30, 60 and 90 minutes. This reminds your child that it's time to potty. Honestly, you could probably save your money and just set your Ipod or something, but I guess there's extra motivation if your child has something that they can identify with and call their own.

We still have to make her sit on the pot sometimes. If she hasn't done anything after 5 minutes of sitting, then we just wait until the watch goes off again. We also try to keep her preoccupied with books or TV. Yes...TV. As you've probably already noticed, we do have two potties (2) in the living-room. Mainly because we just don't like hanging out in the bathroom all day long and it's more convenient for Misses Jones.
