We ran across some pictures that we took at the fair. A handful of the photos were taken on the carousel. At the time she could only ride a couple of the rides because she was, and is probably still too small. I can't believe that I never got around to posting those pictures. Maybe I will at some point if I can remember.
So, she started going on and on about how she wanted to ride the horses and say, "Yee-haw". Uh, okay, Mrs. Jones and I thought. Then we thought, Stonebriar mall has a carousel. Since we were going to the mall the next day anyway, it was a grand opportunity for us to let her take a couple of spins.
Boy, was she excited. Here she is twirling her imaginary lasso saying Yee-Haw.
Look at that smile. Is that joy or what?
She's a crazy girl. Refuses to take a simple picture.
Here she is with her mom just cheezin' it up.
The next day she wanted to go back and had a meltdown that was followed by a much needed nap. I'm not so sure we'll be able to get out of the mall so easily anymore.
We think that she's starting to understand that it won't just be here anymore. A lot of strange, uncanny behavior as of late. We are also trying to do a lot of fun things with her before her brother enters the world. We are starting to realize how much of a transition this will be for us as well as for her.
BTW, if you noticed that the borders on my pictures didn't match, I'm very sorry. I ran them through Photoshop and then uploaded them to my media storage site. I just don't feel like fixing it right now. Oh Well!
