Grown Up Christmas List

My 2nd most favorite Christmas Song is Michael Buble's version of 'Grown Up Christmas List'.  Yep, that's what you're listening to right now.  Kelly Clarkson's version I like too, but it's more poppy than this version.  This one in my opinion is better because it sounds more like a Christmas song.

It also makes me think too.  When we are children and Christmas time comes around, we wait for Christmas Eve and wonder what Santa is going to bring us.  I personally wondered if I was going to get all the stuff I circled in the various department store catalogs that we had around the house.  Come to think of it, I never got that pointless Electronic Football game where the little football figurines jigged all over the football field.  That surely would have been a waste because as an adult, I realize how stupid that game was.

When we become adults, we start to wish, hope and pray for the things that really make life worth living.  Like having close family and friends who love you.  That humanity can learn to live in harmony.  That broken hearts can be mended and that lost love is restored.  You know...Grown Up types of things.
