Going Pro!

I love photography!  So much so, that I'm taking a stab at making a profession out of it. 

I'm not gonna lie.  It's just as much scary as it is exciting.  I'm also finding out that the business aspect of it is much more than what I expected. There's a lot to learn and if I want to be taken seriously, I also have to take some risks and invest more up front than I thought I would have to.  Then there's all that stuff about contracts, pricing and paying taxes on my earnings.  To be honest, if I could find a way around that part of it, I would, but based on what I'd hope to earn, that might not be possible.  Things that I've considered are the following:

• A New Website
• Facebook Page
• New camera lens
• Business Cards
• More Editing Software

Over the next couple of months, I'll be continuing to build my portfolio.  I'm thinking 5 to 7 bookings and then I'm done.  So, if you or someone you know would like to help up a photog out who is just starting out in the business and allow me to take photos of themselves and/or their family, please let me know.  There will be no session fees and no obligation to order any prints.

I'm super ready to start on this journey that so many others have traveled. I'll be sharing soon, the name of my business.  Here's to the future!!!  For you praying folk out there, please, pretty please pray for us.
