Hanging out in the Park!!

I have a new camera lens and I absolutely love it.  It's the Nikkor 85mm 1.8G lens that just came out earlier this year.  For some time, I've been debating which should come first.   The camera body or the lens.  I think I made the right choice considering my budget.  This baby gives really nice and smooth bokeh.  Definitely makes a big difference in the quality of my photos.  This is an awesome portrait lens.  There's quite a bit of workout with it because it's a prime lens.  Therefore I have to move my legs as opposed to just zooming in.  On top of that, I can choose faster shutter speeds in low light situations.  This is something that just doesn't work out that well with my kit lens.   I took the above picture when Handful and I were checking out the park where my latest clients were to have their wedding.   We had a good old time while Mrs. Jones and Gumz were hanging out at home.  This little girl loves being outside.   I wonder if I was just as bubbly as she when I was her age.

Oh to be a child and not have to worry about adult things.  I wonder sometimes if that's how God intended for us all.  (I'm just now noticing that my name in the watermark is placed weird and washed out)... oh well. I don't have time to fix it)

God Bless and more posts to come.

Yes mama, I'm still working on Gumz' 1 year montage... :o)

Beautiful picture! Enjoy your new lens. You made a wise choice I think. It's all about the lenses!

YES!!! Oh to be a child again. No worries about health and bills and jobs and homes. I think God is teaching me through Boyd to worry less.

Hope all is well with the Joneses. :))
