Why do birds suddenly appear
Every time you are near?
Just like me, they long to be
Close to You!
Every now and then, I see a story on TV that breaks my heart where small children, for whatever reason leave this early and return to heaven. Then I think about their siblings and the impact that it has on them. They've been given the opportunity to know and love a sibling and then lose them. Oh my goodness, neither myself nor my wife would know what to do with ourselves if we lost either of our little rugrats... (Wow! This is a HARD post to write)
But this is something that NEVER happens. I thank God that our children are both happy and healthy...and I pray to God that they stay that way. Misses 'Handful' has been in love with her little brother from the day she met him. They fight light the dickens sometimes and it is hilarious, but she absolutely LOVES to be close to this dude. So much so that we have to tell her on a daily basis to 'back up and give him some space!'
What a pure and sweet love this is. I just hope that they're as in love with each other when they're teenagers are they are now.
