Snow Day!!!

Our 1 day of snow that we get ALMOST every year came a tad bit earlier this year. We woke up to big ole flurries of slow that covered the ground, but never stuck. Well this might be the only time Madison sees snow this year and we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to snap off a few pictures before I took her to school and headed off to work.


I would have loved to have sat her in the snow but it was a little to warm outside and it would have melted onto her pants. Not a good idea.

Also, this was the perfect time for her to test out her new coat and cat stocking hat. Isn't she cute?

After I got to work, I wanted to remember the way the morning started. I believe that only in Texas can you have corporate offices adjacent to a country field with bails of hay in it.

Notice how the snow isn't sticking to the pavement. Here's to Texas snowfalls. It's supposed to be back in the 50's in a couple of days.
