Happy Birthday #2, Misses Jones!!

Finally, getting around to posting about Misses Jones B-day party a little more than a month ago. We decided to have a small party in our home with our families. I believe that 2 is the new 16. Our little one is celebrating her new found urge to be independent.

So, to mark this special occasion, instead of doing a birthday cake, we ordered cupcakes and a princess themed party.





Ever since her first birthday, she loves to be sung happy birthday to multiple times of the day. Well, finally after a whole year this time it was for real. Look at how amazed she is.

The thing about getting a picture of a child blowing out their candle, you only get one shot at it. I didn't do too bad I don't think.

Here's the LENGTHY video of her special day. Unfortunately, we had to re-sing Happy Birthday because we thought the camera was rolling, but it wasn't. So this was a second take. You'll also see that Misses Jones was endeared to our sister-in-law Dominique who's great with children.
