Since the birth of Madison, there is one particular moment during the birth that Tess and I always laugh about. Unfortunately, we never participated in a birthing class and therefore, we missed out on some important information as to what could take place once Tess went into labor. So, while Tess was pushing, we learned about something that neither she nor I cared to know at the time.
Madison was beginning to crown and all of a sudden Tess is overcome with pain that she didn't expect. While the nurses are rooting her on and prodding her to push, Tess shouts, "It's burning!!!". In my head, I'm thinking that she is about to rip apart or maybe she ate some spicy food earlier the day before and it was about to make an exit. lol... (I just laughed at myself for typing that). Anyway, the OB politely tells her, "It's called the Ring of Fire", "It's perfectly normal!" Instantly, I know what's going through Tess' head?
"Uh.... Thanks for the tip lady, but honestly, who really gives a "care"(bad word substitution) what it's called. All I know is that this mess burns!".
We look back at that moment with great laughter and Tess with great pain. I still can't believe she conquered so much pain.
Which leads me to this question? Do women who don't normally cuss, cuss in their head during natural child birth? Heck, do they sometimes cuss out loud?
Just wondering?

YES! YES! YES!! Secretly you say and think things you'll never say in front of anyone. Then once it's over, you ask for forgiveness for your thoughts! :)
