Our little girl standing up in the bassinet with her hands on the side rails. So I stand next to her and call out to her mom so she can see what her daughter has done. I'd hate for her to have missed this moment. I even thought for a split second to tell her to get the camera to catch this momentous, yet dangerous occasion, but again this was a little too dangerous. Our little girl pulled up to a stand all on her own for the first time.
Needless to say, for the rest of the evening I was a little jittery just thinking about what would have happened if I had not gone into the bedroom when I did. What if she never made a sound and just kept on standing in the bassinet. She would have surely tried to get out of it. Thank you God for sparing us from what could have been a disasterous experience.
So, tonight we are moving the crib into our room. No more unsupervised bassinet sleeping anymore.

Oh my goodness...
I knew that peanut butter & jelly sandwich would start something(LOL). Your baby daughter is more interested in discovering the world like Christopher Columbus !
She apparently isn't interested in taking "no" for an answer.
