Derek Harper

This is kind of a lame filler post, but sometime ago, we went to our normal little breakfast spot and guess who we see. A local living legend in Derek Harper. Up til a couple of years ago, the Dallas Mavericks grandest accomplishment was making it to the Western Conference finals against the Showtime Lakers in the 80's when they took them to a nail biting game 7.

Anyway, he and his wife dined about 20 feet away from us in the almost empty restaurant. He's the guys with the shiny head on the right side of the image facing towards the camera. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to snap a photo of Tony and Jessica when we saw them there last year. Had a bad angle. Oh well. I probably could've gotten a little somethin' somethin' from TMZ for the photo.
