This is truly one of those times where a picture says a thousand words. Well, maybe a few hundred. So, I go into Wally World (Wal-Mart) a couple of weeks ago and I run into this mess. The great Wal-Mart, in its grand efforts to keep from being outdone by the malls with their many Santas, decided to do it's own version.
1st - We have Santa's Helper, who really looks like an overgrown elf could have done better than just some fake elf's hat. What a joke.
2nd - They could have gotten a velvet rope for all I care to section off the "Take A Picture With Santa" photo area. Instead, they made every effort to keep overhead to a minimum and just used the "Wet Floor" signs. What a joke.
3rd - They could have had a more respectable area sectioned off for the picture area. At the front of the store in front of Lane 2 wasn't very fitting at all.
4th - Really? How old is the kid sitting on "Santa's" lap. Had to at least be 13? Maybe he still believes in Santa.
5th - What's up with the background. Are you serious Wal-Mart?
6th - Do you really need a tripod for a point and shot camera, where there was already ample lighting. I can't imagine that the camera doesn't have any type of image stabilization feature.
Maybe I'm just a little stuck up, but I think Wal-mart could have shown a little more effort considering how much money they rake in, but quite frankly, the whole thing was just stupid.

Yes, I would expect more from Walmart also. This post is hilarious! .....and yeah, the tripod...not necessary here. :)
