Goodbye, Shut Up!!

This picture reminds me so much of when we took Miss Jones to the same park a year and a half ago. See the post here. My how time flies and how children grow. Mrs. Jones and I are now to the point where we are fighting over all of the new pictures and videos that "I" personally uploaded to our image and video sharing sites. She claims that I want to post all of the best pictures, which of course I want. Yet, that's beside the point.

Today, she repeated after me with the words "Shut Up!". Then I thought, Ooops!!! That word has got to go out the door. Of course, we never tell her to shut up, but Mrs. Jones and I playfully say it to each other. And like a a nice dry sponge, she consumed it and squeezed it out of her little mouth.

So, goodbye, Shut Up! I'll surely miss you. Besides, we'll have a hard enough time protecting her from the mouths of others. We hope to set the example that a clean mouth and good manners begin at home. Follow our lead kiddo, because there's a good chance that you inevitably will.
