House Construction Part 5

We took a drive out to the house again today and were amazed at how much progress the builders have made in only 1 week. Thankfully, the weather has been mighty good to us since the snow storms. Giving notice and breaking our lease agreement puts us in the very vulnerable position of trying to approximate just how long it will take our builders to finish the house before our lease ends. They are currently ahead of schedule, but as we enter into the Spring months, things could possibly get real tight based on the forecast.

That makes me think about something. Each year us folk in North Texas go through all kind of whether situations. Sometimes we go on an extended drought where it doesn't rain for weeks. Other times we will get weeks of rain. It makes me think that while God is answering prayers for rain, he may be delaying or denying anothers request for sunshine. That's just reminds me that as children of God, many of us are in different seasons. Some of us in a time of blessing, while others are in a time of struggle, testing and growth. Whatever it is, we just have to deal with it and lean on each other to get through the tough times and share the season of peace and blessing with others. Needless to say, we are in prayer for bright shiny days because we need them in order to get into the house on time.
