Ressurection Sunday

We weren't able to go to Easter service this year because we were taking care of the wonderful new gift that God gave us the previous week. Nevertheless, we still wanted to stick with tradition and let Misses Jones do some egg decorating. Last year, she had a blast and made a huge mess. I guess that's what doing crafty things is all about for a toddler. If you're not making a mess, then you aren't having any fun.
And here are the results her her egg dipping.
Just in case you wanted to know, YES, this is how our poor child looks when we have no place to go.  Which reminds me of an album cover of one of my favorite artists.  Can you see the resemblance?  lol. I'm sure I'll get hate mail from the grandparents.
So, the real meaning of Easter.  We are believer's and therefore we celebrate it.  Misses Jones is just beginning to understand Jesus' love for her.  We will explain in more detail when she's a little older how he put his love for her into action.

Thank You Jesus for your sacrifice for ALL of us.  Though you ARE royalty, you treat me like a brother.  Thank you for knowing my name.  Thank you for putting in the work for me and through your sacrifice my sins are covered.

He is risen indeed.
