KoKo, came over this past weekend. Koko is what Misses Jones calls her cousin Kassidy, even though she can pronounce her name. My mom came over and spent a little bit of time with us this weekend and Kouzin Koko tagged along. Misses Jones loves playing with older girl cousins for some reason. Probably because they cater to her so much.
In between their moments of fun, I was able to coerce them into taking a few pictures. At the same time, I found something that works by way of lighting. If I am close to my subjects in a moderately lit room and I back up into a corner and I bounce the light directly above my head, the flash wraps around my subjects like butter. No skin smoothing necessary.
They finally got a chance to paint and boy did they have fun. Truth be told, Mrs. Jones just wanted to play in the clean water, but we loved her masterpiece all the same.
On the other hand, Kassidy did a really good job with her painting. She reminds me so much of her mom. As a little girl, she was always the crafty type. Makes me laugh.
In the end, I forced them to take a picture with their paintings. Neither was too excited about this. Even if I said, "Hey, I'm going to post these pictures to my blog!", they could really care less about my blog.
Thanks for coming out Koko. Misses Jones loves you.

Those pictures turned out really beautiful! I have got to get a good flash for my camera still. Boyd loves playing with older kids too. :)
