3 Months Old

So, this post is a few days too late, but whatever.  Life gets so busy and that last thing I get to do is blog these days.  So much to do, so little time.

Anyway, back to the reason for this post.

Mr. Jones Jr. (whose blog name will be changing soon) is 3 months old and my oh my how he has grown.  He now weights twice what he was when he was born.  His thighs, his arms, his torso...everything is so big now.  His head is crazy large.  Just solid....lol

He's a cutie.  To be honest he's not the cutest kid in the world, but he's ours.  I've always said that I'd be very honest about my own children.  He has a large forehead and his nose is molded in such a way that you can almost see his brains...lol.  Love him to death.  And he's very much so the conversationalist.  He's definitely a talker.

Just a few weeks ago, we took the above picture.  He was so tiny compared to his big sister.  Now he's literally half her size...which really isn't saying much considering that she's a thin mint.  These two love each other to death.

If you look closely at his cheeks, you'll notice that he's formed little rashes on his lovable fat cheeks.  Looks like we may have another kiddo who has to battle the dreaded eczema.  Unfortunately, there's not much we can do for him right now outside of keeping his face moisturized.  We'll have more pictures to come soon.  I've been snapping quite a few photos lately.  I'll probably deviate a bit from my usual light hearted format to talk about some more weightier subjects.

Son of mine. This is my first letter to you, which is really just a written expression of what I hope I show you in real life.  I am so glad to be your Father.  I thank God that he has entrusted me and your mother with the privilege of sharing with you the overflow of love and care the He has shown us.  My sincerest hope and prayer is to be a living example to you of how a man should be and live.   As a result I will continue to strive to be a more loving and compassionate person.  Be Holy as I am Holy is what out Father requests.  So therefore, I say this. Do as I do and not as well as what I say.   My hope is that you will learn to live the life that you speak.

You are growing much faster than your sister did.  We see where all that formula is going?  You started out an extremely fussy baby and now you're fully of smile and laughter.  Maybe you just needed some time to get adjusted to your new surroundings.  Mom and Dad and big sister are so glad that you are here.  Thanks for being as patient as you can when you're fussy and we have to attend to your big sister.  We love you both equally and do the best job that we can to make sure you both know that.

Love you Gumz

Daddy!!
