Mr. Jones Jr. is now 4 months old. My how time passes. He's more than half his sisters weight....which, to say the least isn't very hard to do. She could barely hold him up taking this picture. Honestly, she's been hovering around 24 pounds for a few months now. She burns off all that energy standing up in front of the TV and running around the house. She seldom sits down. Heck, she seldom eats. Her brother, on the other hand eats up whatever is in his way. Formula, rice cereal, your fingers, his fingers, your face....lol. It really doesn't matter. He's doing a better job of lifting his head these days, but he absolutely hates tummy time. Maybe it's because his head is so big and his neck gets tired easily.. Ha! I love him. He's following in his sisters footsteps. He loves the Backyardigans and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I guess they have catchy tunes. I've said it before and I'll say it again. These two absolutely love each other. Of course, they get tired of each other from time to time, but we haven't run into any of the horror stories that we've heard from other parents where they have to watch their toddlers to make sure they aren't doing anything sinister to the baby. I mean, we do have to make sure she doesn't put too much of her weight on him when she's trying love on him, but that's normal. It's like a pet grizzly bear playing with it's master, yet not aware that their playfulness is painful. Not that I am calling our 2 year old a grizzly bear or anything. I'm sure they will be at each others' throats soon enough. Just gonna enjoy the time we have now.
Thankfully, he has warmed up to the camera a bit. I still have to pull smiles out of him. I have to be quick though because those smiles fade as quickly as I get them. So often I'll get frames in the camera of nothing but his feet or the side of his head. This is where my handy remote for my camera comes in ...well...handy.
Look at him looking like a little grown man. It's gotta be tough attempting to look 'hard' with a paci in your chair..lol
