Photo Restoration

Isn't it amazing how time can really affect our most precious photos if left unprotected.  This is a picture of Mrs. Jones when she was probably around the same age Mr. Jones Jr.  Truth be told, I give her the hardest time about the outfit she's wearing in it because I tell her that her that it reads COW instead of clown.  I love finding damaged photos to see if I can bring them back to life.  The thing is that it's extremely time consuming to do so, but it's so fun.  The thing I like about this photo is how the photographer attempted to make her look like she was leaning back on a hill.

Another thing that really sticks out to me is how much Mr. Jones Jr. looks like Mrs. Jones.  Oftentimes, people comment on how much he looks like me, but I think he really likes her. (Misses Jones seems to thinks so as well.  While I'm posting she is arguing the fact the this IS NOT mommy but her brother.  It's pointless to argue with a 2 year old).  If we could make him a few...ahem a lot of shades darker, they'd practically be twins.
On a side note, we pulled out the bouncer on yesterday for the first time.  We've lost a few of the pieces, thanks to Misses Jones.  He feels so free now because he doesn't have to lay on his back in his free time.  We've tried the Bumbo, but for some reason he can only sit in it for so long because he's grunting to get out.  And because his little thighs are so meaty, we have to use the jaws of life to get him out of it.  (Yes, it's pink.  We were not about to buy a new one.  I hear they have covers for them.  Just seems pointless when he's not going to be out in public.)  I'm glad we went gender neutral on the bouncer.

Also, he doesn't have to figure out how everything on the bouncer works because his sister makes sure every chance she gets to give him a thorough tutorial.
