Earlier this year I wrote a post about our own personal ministry that we have where once a month when we go out to lunch, we anonymously pay for another restaurant diner. There are many ways to show God's love and kindness and this is just one of them that we have chosen. We always hope that someone who may be struggling will come to know that God has not forgotten about them. By the same token, we also hope to increase the joy and faith of those that we bless who may already know HIM.
So, this morning, our family of four got up extra early to have a Christmas Eve breakfast at our favorite morning restaurant......"The Pancake House". We really like the one in Addison, especially since they moved across the street into what used to be Steak & Ale. (Remember when that place was poppin back in the day?).
Anyway, it's safe to say that when we take both the kids out to eat with us, it is always an adventure in multi-tasking. Somebody is bound to get hungry or have to go potty before we ever put one bite in our mouths.
So, we were close to FINALLY finishing our meal and the waiter comes back to our table and states that he needs to take our ticket from us because he may have made a mistake. After the couple who sat across from us left, he came back to our table and told us that we didn't have to pay for our meal because that precious couple had already taken care of it. :o) Then I thought back to the lady before leaving smiled at me and said, "Merry Christmas!"
God is real. Very real to me. And it's times like this that let me know that God Always Remembers.
I hope you are blessed by this post.

Oh my goodness. I LOVE this. Your sweet family is very deserving of this, as you open your hearts to others all the time. How wonderful! I am smiling. :))
