More Photos and Miss Handfuls Self-Talk

Finally, I've been on a roll.  I finally got all of my SD cards emptied.  I should be able to post some actual video soon.  Blogging takes a lot of time, but the hard part is just getting images from the camera and to the computer.

The kids are growing so fast these days.  Well, kind of.  The boy, well, he's only 5 pounds lighter than his sister.  The girl, is still tiny little thing. What she lacks in stature, she more than makes up for in talking.  She NEVER STOPS TALKING.  NEVER.  From the time she wakes up, to the final 'Good night! Love You!' And her favorite question to ask these days... Yep, you guessed it.   'Why?'

A normal exchange goes something like this.

Mommy: 'Handful! Please pick up your shoes off the floor and put them in your room"

Handful: 'But, Why Mom!'

Mommy: 'Because your shoes belong in your room'

The tells us stories that she makes up on the fly in her head.  Every 5th o r 6th word, we may not be able to comprehend.  We're constantly asked to 'Look Daddy', 'Look Mommy'.  And we probably hear 'I Love You' about 20 times a day, followed by how much she likes us.

Before should could talk, I imagined the day that she would, out of the blue, tell me she loved me......But after about the 5th time within a 10 minute window of time, I pretty much get the point.  :o)

Maybe we're doing something right.  Hopefully we can continue to hear those sweet words just as often as she gets older.

P.S.  One more thing.  When she has to go to time out or gets reprimanded for anything (which is often), we definitely hear 'Well, that's not nice!' Yep, we hear that all day too.    You should hear her giving herself her own obedience pep talk when she's in time-out.  She literally says what she did wrong to herself when she's in the square on the floor in the kitchen.  Then follows it up with her apology of what she did to misbehave.  She's a trip.
