Hot Fun in the Summertime

Around mid-morning on yesterday, we decided to brave the heat and take the kids out in the backyard for some fun in the water.  We lathered them up with tons of sunscreen and away we went.  And right beside us....was a cool can of wasp spray.  We've been fighting these jokers like crazy so far this summer.  I'm from the city and we usually don't have all these problems like we do out her in the country.

Nevertheless, they had a blast and hated to come in.

Handful was definitely in 7th heaven.  And yes, that is one of Gumz' diapers on her head.  We were watching the USA Swimming Olympic trials last week and noticed that the contestants had swim caps on.  She is a trip.

When it was all said and done, he was so disappointed that while I was attempting to put a diaper on this dude, he had to escape to see if the swimming pool was still out in the yard.
